Five People - Lesson Two

Robert lent me the audio tapes of the book: Five People you meet in Heaven. I have read it before, enjoyed it, and am deriving pleasure from listening to this simple yet interesting story. Tonight driving to my Roundtable training meeting I listened to the second person and he second lesson to be learned.

The thoughts that struck me-"sacrifice is something to aspire to" and "That's the thing. Sometimes when you sacrifice something precious, you're not really losing it. You're just passing it on to someone else." -pg.94

I pondered why and how I find delight in sacrifice for my family an realized it resides in the essence of enjoying passing something along to those I love. I think there is a truth there. Its a lesson I'm learning.
